|The Inside-out cup

DSCN0745This cup represent of one hour of my life, the time it took me to turn this standard foam cup into an achievement and one check off the bucket list. I turned this cup inside out, even the rim, which is the hardest part, without putting any kind of hole or crack in it. When I was all done, I put it to the ultimate test, I filled it with fruit punch and not a drip was to be found. That was the most satisfying cup of fruit punch!

|Refurbished .22 Rifle

DSCN0737 Here is a picture of my Dad’s old .22 rifle he had since he was in high school (he’s 58 now). I was sick of seeing it just sit in my closet. I wanted to see it fire, so I took it apart and sprayed it’s inners with some WD 40, then blew out all the residue with an air compressor. Then, I oiled up all of the moving parts inside, like the firing pin and ejector. I also took off the stock and fore-end, stripped them down, re-stained them, and put a few coats of Birchwood Casey gun stock finish. It shoots and looks better than ever. Now all I need to do is get a nice scope.

|Mud Champs

IMG_20130721_154714Here’s a picture of me and my friends after we dominated a mud race on Sunday. I’m the one second from the left, I came in second. Noah, the one second from the right, came in first. The two others came in like fourth or sixth. It was extremely fun and brutal at the same time, there were about 40 people in the race and the girls got a three step head-start. We ran after mud trucks raced through so there were a bunch of holes and divots under the mud we couldn’t see. I didn’t come to the mud pit to race, but after I saw the little kids run it changed my mind. Good thing I ran because I ended up winning twelve bucks for finishing second. If you ever have the chance to run in a mud race I would highly recommend racing (and bringing some spare clothes).

|My experience at driver’s ed.

carI had dreaded the day I would have to take driver’s ed., but as fast as it came it went. Although there were some painfully immature kids in my class, I managed to pay attention and pass the test. By the end I actually felt pity for those kids. So if you’re going to be taking driver’s ed., my advice to you is: shut up, listen, and be mature.
